Terms & Conditions

To participate in sessions your child must become a member of the national Tumble Tots club. Annual membership costs £27 Membership provides insurance for class participation and a great membership pack. Membership is not required to attend a single trial class. Membership terms and conditions apply: membership is mandatory, non-transferable, non-refundable and valid for one year. To view the full terms and conditions, please go to: https://www.tumbletots.com/membership-terms-and-conditions/

Sessions are payable in advance on a half termly basis. Due dates for fees will be advised. A space in your chosen class is only guaranteed with payment. Term dates are available on our website at all times.

All bookings are non-refundable. If the sessions is cancelled by the activity organiser (for example bad weather and also including a Coronavirus lockdown) a credit towards future classes will be offered.

Missed sessions: We are unable to credit fees for missed sessions when we are open but if you miss a session for any reason you may make it up at any of our other venues at your own convenience. Make up sessions must be booked in advance and are subject to availability. Sessions owed can be made up in the next term so it is not essential to attend make up sessions in the same term as the one missed. A list of venues and session times is on our website. Make up sessions cannot be used if you are no longer enrolled for sessions.

Parents are actively involved in the sessions for under 3s. We ask that you work directly with your own child encouraging and assisting where necessary. In the 3+ sessions the children participate without an adult. Parents must stay on the premises while children are in classes. In some venues, parents will be sitting at the side of the hall and for safety reasons we ask that all siblings are kept off the equipment at all times.

Please ensure Tumble Tots wear suitable clothing to allow free movement – shorts, joggers, leggings are ideal. Ideally adults should remove their shoes too (socks can be left on). If you prefer not to please take care over shoes worn, stilettos and children’s bare feet is not a good combination!

Bad weather : in the case of severe weather, updates on whether sessions are on will be posted on www.tumbletots.com/reading and on our Facebook page www.facebook.com/tumbletots.reading

Illness : Please do not bring your child to Tumble Tots if they have been sick or had diarrhoea within the 48 hours prior to the session or if they have conjunctivitis that is not being treated with anti-biotic eye drops/creams. This also applies to siblings off school. Other standard exclusions (eg chicken pox) also apply. Hand gel is always available in our centres to minimise the spread of germs such as coughs and colds. Please help yourself. Make-up sessions can be attended at an alternative venues for any session missed.

The equipment is for use by Tumble Tots members only. Adults and non-member siblings must not climb on or use the large equipment. Sibling are welcome to join in at circle time, and use the co-ordination equipment.

For safety reasons, children must not use a dummy while on the equipment. Please encourage your child to leave any blankets/cuddly toys in the car/in your bag if you do bring one. The children need both their hands free for climbing and balance.

The safety of your children is our priority, but remains your responsibility. Please follow the guidelines above and the advice given to you by Tumble Tots staff. In the event of an accident, please ensure you speak to a member of staff who will alert the First Aider. All accidents must be recorded in the Accident Book and signed by the child’s parent/carer. Signing the record can be done at a later date.

Please let me know if you are leaving, so that I can offer your child’s place to someone on the waiting list.
